Millions of women in India are the victims of domestic violence, and there are few escape routes for those desperate to leave an abusive relationship. But one charity is trying to change this situation by training survivors as taxi drivers so they become financially self-reliant. The Azad Foundation also runs self-defense classes and group therapy sessions.
