The Philippines is struggling to find solutions to its soaring teen pregnancy rates, and finding that addressing the problem requires interventions that go beyond contraception education and access.
In Qatar, like in most of the Middle East, “zina” laws ban unmarried couples from having sex. Rights advocates say those most likely to end up in jail for this transgression are low-skilled migrant women.
