Jason Peltier serves as the executive director of the San Luis & Delta Mendota Water Authority, which consist of 29 water agencies serving approximately 1,200,000 acres (485,000 hectares) of farmland, about 2,000,000 urban customers and more than 180,000 acres (70,000 hectares) of waterfowl habitat.
