Deeply Talks: Unarmed Civilian Protection and Peacebuilding

June 25, 2018 | 10:00AM EDT
Join us on Monday, June 25th at 10am EST (4pm CET) for a conversation with Tiffany Easthom, executive director of Nonviolent Peaceforce, about the role of unarmed civilian protection in peacebuilding. Alessandria Masi and Hashem Osseiran, managing editor and deputy managing editor for Peacebuilding Deeply will moderate the call. Unarmed civilian protection is becoming an increasingly accepted practice within the mainstream peacebuilding community. In this 30-minute live discussion, we will examine the impact of introducing these methods to local communities and whether this can lay the groundwork for future peacebuilding initiatives. Join the conversation by tweeting your questions and comments to @PeacebuildingDeeply, using the hashtag, #DeeplyTalks.
