While we paused regular publication of the site on September 15, 2017, and transitioned some of our coverage to Oceans Deeply, we are happy to serve as an ongoing public resource on the Arctic. We hope you’ll enjoy the reporting and analysis that was produced by our dedicated community of editors contributors.

Connie and Peter Roop are the authors over 100 children’s books about nature, science, and history. Former educators, the Roops now write and lecture fulltime and have given presentations on all seven continents. They are currently writing nature books for young readers for the American Museum of Natural History.
